When Your Mind Never Stops Moving
You wake up already thinking ahead, work, home, the text you forgot to answer, the thing you said last night at book club you’re replaying again. By the time you wake up, your body already feels like it’s sprinting.
You’ve really tried to calm it. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, maybe even asked ChatGPT to help you figure out why you feel this way. However, information isn’t the same as understanding. Deep down, you know what you really need isn’t another checklist, it’s a place to slow down even for a moment.
Why Anxiety Feels So Loud
In a world that rewards productivity and perfection, anxiety can feel like the price of keeping up. It may shows up as:
Overthinking every decision
Constant tension or restlessness
Guilt for resting or slowing down
Feeling wired but exhausted
Trouble sleeping, even when you’re drained
When your nervous system stays in “go” mode for too long, your mind and body forget how to feel safe doing nothing. Therapy with me helps you relearn that safety gently.
For the High-Functioning Woman Who “Looks Fine”
Many women I work with appear composed on the outside (juggling careers, relationships, and responsibilities with ease) yet inside feel like they’re one missed appointment away from falling apart.
You don’t have to wait until you break down to get support. Therapy can help you reconnect to the calm, clear version of you that’s been buried under the busyness.
My Approach to Anxiety Therapy
I use a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Acceptance Commitment Theory, and mind-body strategies to help you understand not just what you feel, but why. Together, we focus on:
Understanding the roots of your anxiety
Rebuilding emotional safety in your body
Shifting perfectionism into presence
Strengthening your inner trust and boundaries
You’ll leave sessions with insight and practical tools you can use between appointments.
